$2,250,000 Project gets Underway

Northwestern Bell Telephone announced plans for a new central office to serve Cottage Grove and St. Paul Park suburban areas. The first step will be construction of a 6,400 square foot, one story masonry and brick building on Cottage Grove Road about one-half mile east of Highway 61. Special apparatus will be installed to permit automatic identification of numbers and also touch-tone calling.
