Opening of railroad line

A grand celebration is held at the Metropolitan Hotel in St. Paul in honor of the opening of a railroad line which runs through much of Washington County. In January of that year, the tracks of the SPS&TF and the West Wisconsin meet at what becomes known as Stillwater Junction in Baytown.
